Yeditepe University Hospital was founded on 2005 on a area of approximately 16,500 square meters has a capacity of 170 beds and a technology based on an infrastructure completely equipped with intelligent systems which enables it to provide a 24 hour service.

The Yeditepe University Hospital has a total of eight operating rooms and reanimation units which are; Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Neurological Science Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care Unit, General Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care Unit.

Yeditepe University Hospital Stem Cell Transplantation Unit provides both Autologous and Allogenic transplantations.The department is capable of diagnosing and treating, haematological malignancies and non-malignant haematological diseases. The Unit is supported by the Extracorporeal Photopheresis unit that is supervised and maintained by the Division and also the unit is certified by EBMT.

The Hospital‘s Neurological Sciences Center consists of surgeons, neurologists, anesthesists and intensive care physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, physicaltherapist, nurses and technicians, who set out with the philosophy of 'primarily serving to humanity' and each of whom has a knowledge, education and experience meeting all international standards in their own branches. Yeditepe University Ophthalmology Department offers a wide range of services in areas such as Glaucoma, Refractive Surgery, Cataract Surgery, Corneal Diseases, Pediatric Ophthalmology ,Behçet’s Unit and Oculoplastic Surgery.

Yeditepe University Hospital Orthopedics team performed free vascularized fibula grafting for extansive knee osteonecrosis in 2007. This has been the first case in all over the world that free fibula has been used for extansive knee osteonecrosis. .

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department offers a wide range of dermatological treatments, ranging from refreshing to minimally invasive surgeries. Plastic Surgery team deal with the esthetic problems in an integrated manner with Holistic Esthetic point of view which includes an individualized treatment and health care programs. The first permanent artificial heart pump operation in Turkey performed by Yeditepe Team on 19 October 2006 and also the first and only artificial heart pump project of Turkey launched by Yeditepe on 2007.Also within the lung cancer diagnosis and treatment center the most contemporary lung cancer treatment protocols applied.Major airway surgery is another field of expertiese in Yeditepe University Hospital.

Yeditepe University Hospital Urology Department successfully performed Minimal Interventional Surgery with modern medical techonological devices.In this technique, visualization of operative field is magnified 10-20 times of normal and the surgery is performed in a more meticulous and precise manner, minimizing blood losses.

Ear-Nose-Throat Clinic is highly specialized on communicative disorders and its application to psforming arts. Hearing and voice is our primary focus interest.The techniques are cochlear implantation, hearing aids, phonomicrosurgery, laringo plastic surgery and their rehabilitations.
