Ultralase Reviews and Ratings

Having researched for over one year about which laser eye surgery clinic to choose I finally decided to go with Ultralase after a friend had surgery there and was happy with the results. I am now one month post surgery and my vision is great. I had my one month check just a week ago and the optician said my vision was better than 20:20 vision - Not quite sure how that works as I thought 20:20 vision was perfect - But I aint complaining!

I am not one to normally write reviews but i was so happy with how everything went I felt it was something I should do! I certainly will be recommending Ultralase to anyone who asks for my advice.

Overall a good experience and the results are so good my daughter has had the treatment and is also very pleased.

I went for consultations at a few different clinics and although Ultralase was more expensive than the other clinics I just had a good feeling about them. Having laser eye surgery for me was never about getting the cheapest treatment I just wanted to make sure I was getting the best and also the safest surgery.

Everything at the consultation was really professional and I never once felt pressured to sign up for surgery. In the end I decided to go with Ultralase even at the added cost as I felt they were the clinic I could trust the most.

6 months on after surgery things are still going great and I feel really lucky to no longer have to wear glasses. I would certainly recommend Ultralase.

After being a contact lense and glasses wearer for almost 25 years I decided to explore laser eye surgery after it being recommended to me by a few friends. I was always going to go with Ultralase due to the lifetime aftercare guarantee they offer. Its being 2 days since my surgery and I am thrilled, my vision is perfect and I still can't believe I'm not wearing contact lenses! I had worn contact lenses for over 10 years and I was starting to find them uncomfortable. My optician said I was allergic to the contact lens solution so we changed that but it still didn't seem to help. I then changed to daily contact lenses but they seemed to dry out quickly. The thought of having to wear glasses again was awful so I booked in for a consultation at Ultralase on the back of a recommendation from a friend and I am so glad I did.

The level of care was great and the best thing about the whole procedure was that everything was explained from start to finish so I knew what to expect. The procedure itself was nothing to fear . . .I didn't feel anything! And my vision is now perfect. I used to be -5.00 which meant I couldn't see anything so it really has changed my life! I Had a wonderful experience with the ultralase team in belfast, from my consultation to the check up appointments all staff were very helpful and reassuring. The proceedure was pain free and four hours later my vision seemed perfect!!:) its been two weeks now and my vision is still the same! if only a tiny bit light sensitive. I had worn contacts for over 13 years, and had got serious dry eye problems from them and had to resort to my glasses for afew months- only for this i wouldnt have considered the treatment because just the thought of the procedure put me off but i can safely say i had nothing to worry about and i am recommending it to everyone i know!Totally worth the money, i just wish i had done it years ago!! thank you ultralase

 I was terrified just prior, but surgery is nothing more than a bit uncomfortable. The cold water was the worst bit for me and that wasn't bad - just concentrate on where they tell you to look. Only had it done 48 hrs ago and it is brill - if I had only had one eye done i wouldn't hesitate to have the other one done. It really is simple. Tip - go for a later appointment - i nearly went early to get it over with. Glad I went later as when I got home I could go straight to bed.

 I found the entire process to be very informative and helpful.From the day I booked my consultation I was treated as if my case was individual and I never felt rushed. My treatment and the follow up appointments were all very professional. I would recommend the company to anyone!

 Excellent treatment and after care. Great to be able to read a newspaper with out glasses!

Initially I was concerned about the success of the treatment, would I be able to see as well without glasses and more importantly, would it hurt! but having met with Nina and Mike I was very quickly re-assured that my fears were unfounded. Their professionalism was exceptional with extensive eye tests and examinations and confirmations to verify if treatment was possible. When I was given the go-ahead it was only a few days later that I found myself in the most capable hands of treatment nurses Anne-Marie and Carrie-Anne, laser technician Chris and the brilliant surgeon, Joe Karthikappallil. Within ten to fifteen minutes my world had changed! I could see without the aid of spectacles and over the next few hours my eyesight improved minute by minute. I have nothing but the highest praise for all the staff at Ultralase Manchester. Would I recommend you have it done? You bet I would!

 a painless experience with great results. just a bit of dry eye but it is getting better, wish l'd done it years ago. all staff at liverpool were excellent and nothing was too much trouble.

I had surgery at this clinic around five years ago. I found the staff at the initial consultation very professional and helpful. They take their time to talk you through everything and make sure you are completely happy before deciding whether or not to have the treatment. I had Wavefront treatment and although the thought of the procedure was frightening the whole experience was quick and painless. When I went for the follow up appointment the following day I could already see better than I had been able to for around ten years. My vision continued to get better and I still think its one of the best things I have ever done.

Dont put it off like i did for years and just go for it! Everyone at ultralase was BRILLIANT and i cant believe my new vision. If you are in any doubt you should go and at least have a consultation so you can find out all about it - J.P

 It was such a life changing experience and i would do it all again. I now can see perfectly and i just never thought this could ever become possible. It did seem a little scary at first, but once everything was explained and the procedure was finished i just could not believe i could see. For the first time in my life i could see without lenses and it welt amazing. The first day you have it done it feels strange and sore, but that's obvious since you have had surgery. The day after though everything is much better and the drops do really help.I must admit that i was scared and felt very nervous but i would advise anyone with a high prescription to build up the courage and have it done and i am sure they will never look back. As far as the money is concerned I don't believe anyone can put a price on their eyesight, its all worth it!!!
