Mr Mark Wevill qualified as a doctor over 2 years ago and has been performing laser eye surgery for the past 13 years. To date he has completed in excess of 13,000 procedures including both Lasek and Lasik. As with all Ultralase surgeons, Mr Mark Wevill is fully accredited and holds the prestigious "Certification in Refractive Surgery" qualification from the prestigious Royal College of Ophthalmologists. Such recognition means you can be confident he is a surgeon you can trust to give you the vision you have always wanted. As well as laser eye surgery Mr Mark Wevill is also highly competent in Intra-ocular and cataract surgery and has performed over 2,000 such procedures to date. He is regarded as a world leader in refractive surgery having written and presented many scientific papers. Such is his reputation, he has presented at the exclusive Royal College of Ophthalmologists Congress which is saved for only the very best in the refractive surgery field. He is also one of only 2 UK treating surgeons to have presented at the respected global eye health giant AMO at their 2008 Invitational Conference in St. Moritz. He is also a visiting Lecturer at Aston University and has been awarded a Commendation from the University of Ulster in their Refractive Surgery Qualification.
