Surgery Worldwide is very pleased to be the UK representative of The Singelberg Clinic in Belgium.

The Singelberg Clinic is located in the Northern Belgian town of Beveren-Waas, not too far from Antwerp. It is the practice of Dr Oelbrandt, a licensed Plastic Surgeon in Belgium and the UK.

Belgium has an excellent reputation for healthcare throughout the world. The high level of surgical expertise is developed from many years of training – Surgeons are trained for a minimum of seven years and specialists for 12 years. These highly skilled surgeons are members of the UK General Medical Council, listed on the UK Specialist Register, and have gained qualifications in the UK and the USA.

The clinics and hospitals offer excellent facilities, with state of the art equipment and techniques. With the healthcare system in Belgium closely monitored by the authorities the clinics and hospitals have to abide by very rigorous laws, that results in the standards of hygiene and post operative care being of an extremely high quality. So those concerned about infections can be reassured that the international statistics show cases of MRSA are non-existent.

In addition, we offer a local mobile phone facility so you can stay in touch with your friends and family whilst you are away.

We offer advice on travel arrangements, whether flights or Eurostar, provide options and an itinerary for connecting travel services to and from your point of entry into Belgium and recommend local hotels

Dr Oelbrandt has had his private practice at Singelberg Clinic since 2005 and also works in the NHS system in Belgium.

Dr Oelbrandt holds regular consultations in Central London so you are able to meet your surgeon in advance of travel if you wish to ask any questions about your procedure. He speaks fluent English.

Upon your return to the UK after your surgery you will have an aftercare plan to follow and will be visited in your own home by Surgery Worldwide’s team of nurses. Once fully recovered and signed-off by the aftercare team, you will still be monitored by means of a monthly telephone call for a period of six months.
