Scanhealth Norway Reviews and Ratings

 Due to a lengthy period of undiaganosed illness in the UK and having difficulty accessing the NHS due to waiting times I was becoming increasingly frustrated and concerned. I decided to consider the option of private healthcare. Initally I contacted a local private provider in the UK, but it was difficult to get up front prices for scans etc, they seemed very vague and would only give me a rough price for an initial consultation. I did not feel confident pursuing this as I was unsure if I would actually be able to afford their services. I then found a price table on an internet site for the UK that quoted the price for one of the procedure I required as being between £600 and over a £1000.

So I decided to look at other options and found Scanhealth on the net, initally a little nervous at pursuing this approach my mind was soon put at ease. My every concern was completely addressed prior to me making my decision. The receptionist and and the radiographer took time to explain everything very carefully to me responding quickly by both telephone and email.
I very soon had a complete price of just over £700 for the following investigations -urology consulation, cystoscopy and uroflowmetri, MRI Scan lumber spine, CT Scan abdomen and pelvis and a mammogram. I was delighted and amazed as even with the cost of flights and hotel for the three days I was there, it was still cheaper than the UK.
Everything in Norway went so smoothly,the facilities were immaculate, staff friendly and professional and English speaking. I had achieved in 3 days what I had not been able to achieve in 3 months on the NHS, an accurate diagnosis, professional advice, reports written in English and a CD with my scans.
I now feel in control of my own health, if ever I needed surgery and could not wait for the NHS to respond I would consider Haugesund in Norway without hesitation, the lowest MRSA rate in Europe, no waiting list and a very scenic country.
