"From the moment I entered the clinic I felt at ease and every member of staff was friendly, kind and helpful as well as delivering their skills with expertise and efficiency. The surgical team led by Mr Luff were excellent and the surgical skills with which the operation was performed was outstanding. Throughout I was treated with respect, kindness and I cannot fault the treatment I received from everyone.

From the age of 5 years I have suffered with poor eyesight and had to wear glasses. As a result of this I was bullied as a child and hated having to wear 'specs'. Although at the age of 15 years I was prescribed with contact lenses and have worn various types on contact lenses ever since, when I saw the advert for Optegra in the Radio Times earlier this year, I knew I had to find out more about the surgery described.

So here I am recovering well fro these amazing operations on my eyes. It is like a MIRACLE! There is nothing to compare with Christmas present of good sight. My distance vision, middle vision and reading are excellent and for the first time since I was 5 years old (I am 65 years old next year) I can see the clock when I wake up and don't have to fumble round in the shower when I wash! It is truly amazing and I cannot express my thanks in words!

I would most definitely recommend Optegra eye hospitals to anyone thinking about having eye surgery, as the treatment given is second to none. Already one of my cousins is considering having a consultation in the Birmingham hospital and I shall continue to encourage her you take that first step.
