This depends on exactly where the lines are and in addition if they are just fine wrinkles caused by muscular movement or due to changes within the mid face causing characteristic drooping of the lower face region.
Normally i would say fillers for the corners of the mouth and jaw line although it is a good idea to look at areas of volume loss in areas such as the cheeks and temples that are exaggerating the problem. Fine lines around the mouth can be treated very cautiously with small amounts of lightweight fillers. Too many problems and unnatural effects have been seen in the past with the use of large amounts of heavy fillers that are designed to increase volume.
Botox is now being used in the jaw line and around the mouth in the muscle that circulates the mouth to help reduce very fine lines around the lips. This can have a very effective result but care must be taken in the treatment as too much can impair speech and eating and can be distressing so chose carefully who you want to administer the Botox to you.
Hope you find this helpful as it can be but you need to have a consultation with someone who has a lot of expertise in this area.
