Mr Mark Wilkins qualified as a doctor from the prestigious Oxford University in 1990 and went onto to gain the following key experience:
• MD thesis,
• Institute of Ophthalmology - assessing glaucoma progression by analysing visual fields.
• 2 corneal fellowships at Moorfield's managing medical and surgical aspects of advanced corneal and external eye disease.

His areas of speciality are as follows:
• Cataract.
• Corneal and Refractive Surgery.
• Lens implantation for the correction of high refractive errors.
