Comparing the costs

There is no doubt that travelling overseas for medical treatment can result in substantial savings (up to 80%). People often ask the question: how can the treatment be so cheap if the quality of care is not compromised?
Many of the reasons are the same for other sectors of industry abroad and the main ones are as follows:

• Labour costs are less expensive.

It is hardly surprising then that the cost for treatment abroad is so much cheaper. The general rule is that the more expensive the procedure is in your own country then the bigger the saving you will get by going abroad.

One final point to mention is that it is important to ensure you know exactly what is included for your agreed price as you don’t want any unexpected add-ons. To avoid this make sure you have a valid contract in place before handing over your money!
