Q.

Reading glasses after laser surgery

I had laser surgery about 10 years ago (very successful). I am now finding I need reading glasses more and more. Would I be suitable for further surgery to alleviate this problem?

Hi Ian

The KAMRA inlay is now my preferred choice to help reading vision when the patient has had previous treatment e.g. LASIK. Blended vision may also be an option, but the KAMRA corneal inlay is a more advanced solution. Your suitability will depend on the previous procedure, corneal thickness, previous and current prescriptions, pupil size, etc., which are all covered at a KAMRA consultation. If KAMRA isnt an option, then I perform blended vision instead, if suitable.

You are welcome to talk to one of my team in the first instance . . . You can contact us through our brochure page: Focus laser vision
