Q.

astigmatism - prescription too high?

my daughter has -2.25 and -4.75 and went for a test a couple of years ago which resulted in her being turned down as when they diluted her pupils for possible wavefront they were too wide, has laser sugery progressed much that a new test would be appropriate?

Hi Colleen

It is certainly worth attending for another laser eye surgery consultation as there is a good chance your daughter will now be suitable. As the laser technology advances the parameters for treatment widen, meaning her large pupils may now not be a problem.
