am i suitable for laser eye surgery
I had a consutlation a few years ago and was told I was not suitable for laser eye surgery as I am longsighted. My optician has told me things have changed and that now its lilley I would be suitable. My prescription is Right eye Distance SPH +2.00 Cyl - 0.50 axis 90
Left eye Distance SPH +4.25 cyl -0.75 axis 80
Near: Right SPH +3.75 Cyl -0.50 axis 90. left SPH +6.00 CYL - 0.75 axis 80
The chances are you will be suitable for laser eye surgery with this prescription, although you will only know for certain by having a laser eye surgery consultation. The laser eye surgery is only likely to correct your distance vision however and you still may need reading glasses for near vision tasks. You will be able to use those cheap over the counter ready reader type spectacles though once you have had your distance vision corrected. Please reply in the forum if you have any further questions.
