Should I use a medical travel agent?

Medical travel agents generally charge a fee (concierge fee) which varies from one company to the next but most of the planning of the trip can be left to them. They can arrange your flights, accommodation, visa, help with hospital selection and arrange to have any of your medical records sent (often at a cost) to your chosen hospital.

However most of the information you require can be found within Treatmentsaver.com and many of the hospitals and clinics (especially the larger ones) are able to arrange flights, accommodation and the holiday part of your stay as part of their international patient services.
